Russky Technopark released online-course on technology entrepreneurship in Asia
On December 8-18, the Meet Asia international track was conducted in frames of the Far Eastern Start educational program by Russky Technopark with the support of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU). More than 120 students from FEFU, Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service, Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University (Vladivostok), Pacific National University (Khabarovsk) and Higher School of Economics (Saint Petersburg) applied for participation in the project.

The international track is comprised of 4 lectures on technology entrepreneurship in such Asia-Pacific region countries as Japan and China. Among experts in the hi-tech business with Asia, performed as lecturers, were SAMI LLC company CEO Hiroshi MAKINO, president of the Russian-Chinese Center for Innovative Entrepreneurship Vera PRONKINA, co-founder of Geeek Club hardware startup in Shenzhen Nikita POTRASHILIN and the Skolkovo Foundation representative in China Evgeny KOSOLAPOV. Lecturers shared their knowledge and personal experience in the specifics of high-tech projects in China and Japan, venture funds structure and negotiations with partners, as well as possible ways to enter the Asian markets.
"Assistance to Russian Far East technological projects in entering Asia-Pacific markets is a priority for Russky Technopark. Since Technopark is concentrated on the development of student technological entrepreneurship, we strive to incorporate practice-oriented, dynamic events, where the youth can learn more about cases, based on real examples. The fact that during the Meet Asia event experts shared their "live" experience of business in the Asia-Pacific region makes it a truly unique project for the Russian audience", – mentioned Russky Technopark CEO Dmitry Borovikov.
As the project finished, participants received certificates for completion of the Meet Asia international track. All the lectures in the format of a mini online course are available at Russky Technopark's official YouTube channel (in the Russian language).
