Russky Technopark became the Skolkovo regional operator

On February 5, 2020, Russky Technopark CEO Dmitry Borovikov and Skolkovo Foundation Vice-President for Regional and International Development Yury Saprykin signed the agreement, which awarded Russky Technopark the status of a regional operator of Skolkovo Foundation. The first memorandum on regional operator status was signed at the V Eastern Economic Forum in September 2019 by Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) President Nikita Anisimov, Primorsky Krai Governor Oleg Kozhemyako, and Skolkovo Foundation Board of Directors Chairman Victor Vekselberg.

Skolkovo regional operator status gives Russky Technopark an opportunity to offer hi-tech companies of the Russian Far East the same support and services, as those offered by Skolkovo. Entrepreneurs of the Russian Far East will get access to an internal tracking system for applications and grants, which will allow them to track all stages of projects' consideration. Moreover, Russky Technopark experts will provide all projects with detailed consultations on the procedure of getting a Skolkovo resident status.

In addition, all 75 residents of Russky Technopark will be able to work under the Skolkovo brand, which will help to raise their investments, as well as facilitate the communication process with business partners, business angels, and government structures. The status will also allow Russky Technopark residents to take part in events and programs led by Skolkovo.

"For Russky Technopark the year 2019 was Skolkovo-led indeed, since our several residents became Skolkovo residents, a number of Open University Skolkovo events and strategically important meeting with Victor Vekselberg was conducted in Vladivostok. The year 2020 successfully continued this trend, when the project of both Skolkovo and Russky Technopark resident got the first prize at the Open Innovations Startup Tour held in FEFU. Finally, we are happy the September memorandum brought us the long-awaited regional operator status for the benefit of our residents", - said Russky Technopark CEO Dmitry Borovikov.
