Five Russky Technopark residents became winners of the Primorsky Start regional competition
On October 9, 2020, Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) hosted the Grand finale of the first regional competition for technology startups Primorsky Start. Out of 39 projects, participated in the online stage of the event, 15 went to its finale.

This year Primorsky Start had the debut. The program for promising technology startups, development companies and hi-tech entrepreneurs gathered 139 projects' applications from all over the Primorsky region. To participate in it, projects had to conduct research activities on the territory of the Primorsky region and be included in the register of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Besides Technopark Russky, the co-organizers of the event were Primorsky region Government, entrepreneurship support center My Business and FEFU.

The Grand finale jury included FEFU top officials, representatives of government agencies and major Russian banking companies. Primorsky region governor, Mr. Oleg Kozhemyako, being the special guest of the event, also was a jury member.

As a result of the final pitch session, 10 out of 15 projects became winners, receiving certificates for 2 million rubles grant. Participants can allocate money for scientific research and further development of business.

Among winners, 5 projects bear the status of Russky Technopark residents, namely:

1. Tomoru – an AI platform for quick creation of smart bots,

2. Aiger – an AI website constructor,

3. Adam the personal robot,

4. Russian Carbon – development of wheelchairs and prosthetics made of composite material,

5. Titanium – modular technology for producing titanium dioxide.
