What is RAUVC?
Russky AUV Challenge 2021 (RAUVC) is an international competition and scientific and practical conference devoted to autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) technology which will be held in October 2021, on Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) campus.
More than 100 participants from the Asia-Pacific region will take part in the competition. Participants will demonstrate the operation of their AUVs by completing underwater tasks.
Competition
Participants are to perform 4-5 different tasks at RAUVC 2021:
2 tasks will be devoted to underwater vehicle manoeuvring
2 tasks will require the sonar equipment
1 task will require the equipment for robotic manipulation
RAUVC 2021 is a unique competition because all tasks performed by the participants simulate the real tasks which operational AUVs are able to implement. All activities in frames of RAUVC are connected with industrial or scientific use of autonomous underwater vehicles.
Venue
FEFU campus
Situated in picturesque Ajax Bay on Russky Island near Vladivostok, the campus of Far Eastern Federal University is a project supported on the governmental level that has no equivalent in Russia. It boasts the unique infrastructure along with opportunities for students' development in numerous spheres. The campus was opened during the APEC Summit in September 2012 and became a venue for cooperation and association of young researchers and experienced scientists from the Asia-Pacific region countries.
Swimming pool
There are three swimming pools on the FEFU campus, each of them has a track length of 25 meters. There are 4 tracks in building S, and five tracks in buildings S1 and S2. Diving classes are conducted in the pools regularly.
Accommodation
FEFU campus possesses multi-media classrooms, laboratories, comfortable student dormitories, hotels with free Wi-Fi access, and sport facilities.
There are five 3-star hotels with a beautiful panoramic view of the Ajax Bay: "Paris", "Patroclus", "Ulysses", "Jason", and "Orpheus".
Spacious halls with a lounge area, a cafe and luggage rooms are available in the hotels.
Travel
Vladivostok is a city and the administrative centre of the Far Eastern Federal District and Primorsky Krai of Russia. It is the largest scientific and educational centre of the Russian Far East which has a strategic role in the Asia-Pacific region. The geographic importance and port of the city have made Vladivostok a vital hub in North-East Asia.
How to get to Vladivostok
The trip from Moscow and Saint Petersburg to Vladivostok will take 8-9 hours, and from Seoul, Tokyo, and Beijing - 2-2.5 hours.
Vladivostok International Airport is located 44 km from Vladivostok in the city of Artem. The most comfortable way to get to the city is taxi, but you can also take a bus or electric train. In order to get to FEFU by bus from the city, check the schedule.

Bus
The most affordable way to travel to Vladivostok's city center is to take a shuttle van 107, which goes to the main railway station. A ticket costs 100 rubles and the trip lasts 1 hour 24 minutes.

Taxi
The most comfortable way to get to the campus is taxi. The taxi stands are located near the domestic terminal exit. The trip to Vladivostok costs around 1,200 rubles.

Electric train
Use the high-speed train to reach Vladivostok and avoid traffic. The train terminal is connected to the airport. Travel time is 51 minutes and the fares are 270 rubles.

2-й поток акселератора технопарка "Русский".
В рамках программы участники/команды получат новые знания, навыки и возможность освоить новые инструменты для развития и монетизации своих стартапов (проектов) и представить результаты экспертам на Demo-Day, а выпускники университета – защитить выпускную квалификационную работу в формате «Стартап как диплом».
Для кого?
1. Студенческие команды ДВФУ, находящиеся на разных стадиях жизненного цикла проекта: от идеи до прототипа. 2. Студенты ДВФУ, у которых есть идея проекта, нет команды, но есть понимание, кто требуется. 3. Студенты ДВФУ, которые готовы применить свои навыки и компетенции в действующем проекте.
Примеры идей стартапа, с которыми ты можешь стать участником программы. Если твой проект не подходит ни под одно описание - ничего страшного, все равно подавай заявку. Главное, чтобы твоя идея имела технологическую, IT, Digital составляющую.

Создание нового продукта, услуги, технологии, которых нет на рынке: - изобретение дронов и других устройств; - изобретение новых материалов и т.д.; - появление уникальных инновационных услуг и сервисов. 2. Модернизация существующего продукта, услуги, технологии: - производство косметики из Трепанга, который обычно используется как пищевой продукт; - создание "умных" часов на основе классических; - появление электроавтомобилей на базе автомобилей с топливным двигателем; - примерка одежды в AR-приложении и т.д. 3. Изменение бизнес-модели классического бизнеса с помощью инновационных технологий: - Uber или Яндекс.Такси значительно изменили процесс вызова такси, т.е. переход от телефонного звонка к вызову через приложение; - возможность оформить подписку на фильмы и сериалы вместо того, чтобы покупать их по отдельности и т.д.
